O ensino das linguagens artísticas na infância: uma proposta de intervenção

Abstract

The present dissertation entitled "The teaching of artistic languages in childhood: an intervention proposal" - linked to the Training and Action of Teaching Profession and Pedagogical Practices, in the Master's Program in Education, University of West Paulista, aimed to propose, to carry out and analyze the development of an intervention proposal for the teaching of artistic languages in a class of the 3rd year of Elementary School in a context of a municipal public school in a medium-sized city in the interior of São Paulo. As an epistemological theoretical contribution, this research emphasizes historical-cultural theory and describes the main theoretical-methodological assumptions of art teaching in order to reflect on the challenges and possibilities of art teaching. This is an intervention research, with a qualitative approach and was attended by the researcher, a teacher and their respective students. Pre-and post-intervention semistructured interviews were prepared and applied with questions open to the teacher and post-intervention for the students of this room (chosen by lot). For the data collection, the Management Plans, the Political-Pedagogical Projects, the Teaching Plans of the Art discipline were analyzed, as well as the observation and participation of the researcher during the interventional proposal; with the collection of the productions in the different artistic languages by the students during the classes of the curricular component Art. The results indicate that the students were able to produce in the artistic languages (Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Theater), in addition to contextualizing their works; it was confirmed that in the teaching of art, proposed in the intervention and the moments lived by the children contributed to their human development.
