Educação profissional técnica em administração de nível médio: contribuições para o ingresso no ensino superior

Abstract

This study is part of the Post Graduate Program in Education of the Universidade do Oeste Paulista (Unoeste), in Research Line 01: Public Policies in Education, training processes and diversity. Starting from the concern about the fate of graduates of high school technical education and further advancement in their studies at higher education, it became necessary to investigate the contributions of this teaching modality and evidences the main collaborations to its graduates to continue their studies at the higher level (college/university). The research had as main objective: to analyze the implications of the academic trajectory, and profile of students in the technical course in administration for training citizen and for the pursuit of studies at a higher level. Considering the approach of the investigation adopted for this study, the following aspects were contemplated: the bibliographic analysis; document analysis; research questionnaire conducted through electronic questionnaire sent by the Google Forms platform to graduates by means such as e-mail and messengers (WhatsApp) where adopting a quali/quantitative methodology of data analysis and subsequent verification of the data ordered in tables and compared to official statistics. From there, it is evident the contributions of teaching technical level, technical course in administration, focus of this research, contribute to the progress of their students at a higher level, the role of the teacher must be highlighted, it was pointed out by the respondents as relevant to advance their studies to a higher level. Based on this final reflection, my research does not end here, I aim to carry out further studies on the didactics and results of on-the-job training of the teachers who contribute to the egress of technical education to continue their studies and their citizenship education.
